Want to set up a surveillance cam on one computer that is near my driveway and be able to check it from another computer.I need to know what software to use. The computers are linked via ethernet cables into a router. I don’t want to use an internet program like AIM .Thanks

I dont think there is a program that will do what you want. If the camera is a usb device you might be able to find the device in your "my computer" window and select to share the device on the network and install the program that came with the camera on the other computer and access it that way but I really dont know enough about what you have to give very detailed instructions.
