I need a video camera surveillance system for my warehouse in the city that I can watch and check from my home PC in town somehow over the internet. Is there a camera system that will let me do that? Thanks

Should I get a netbook or Motorola Droid?

Saturday, August 21st, 2010

I have verizon wireless and happy with them.

I’m installing a wireless video surveillance system in my house.

Should I get a netbook to monitor it when I’m away or get a Droid?

I think I should get the Droid since I can’t carry the netbook in my pocket.

Also do anyone know how much gigabyte service I should get if I’m remotely monitoring my house with a netbook or Droid?

Do authentic looking video camera deter an average burglar?

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

I really don’t want a video surveillance system although I can well afford it.

I just want a deterrent for an average "joe" burglar who will see the camera and say, "I’ll move on to a safer house"

I’m thinking of getting one that’s pretty authentic looking and in fact can house a hidden real camera inside if I decide to get a real one.

What do you think. I’m not a criminal, but if I saw a video camera, I would be careful whether if I thought it was real or not.

Telescopic Mobile Video for Law Enforcement/ Security.

Sunday, August 8th, 2010

The MVS system was developed for Law enforcement, Military use, Security use, or for any organization needing high quality, mobile video surveillance. Studies have proven that video surveillance cameras are among the most effective forms of crime prevention. The most outstanding feature of the MVS system is its mobility. It can quickly and easily relocate to surveillance areas, thus optimizing your detection ability, as well as providing maximum threat or criminal deterrence. The system is unique in that it incorporates a patent pending, adjustable, telescopic pole hitch, which allows positioning the pole vertically at any location, including uneven or sloping terrain. Unlike a large trailer mounted system, this more tactical surveillance system can be used anywhere the vehicle can go. The system attaches to any vehicle with a standard 2×2″ receiver and pneumatically telescopes to elevations up to 32 feet. It is simple to use, takes only a minute to raise or lower, and can operate day or night in nearly all weather conditions. All surveillance is done from inside the safety and comfort of your vehicle. To operate the system, the user simply tilts the pole to find vertical, locks it in place, and then pumps the pole to the desired height. The PTZ controller and video display provide an unparalleled view from above in every direction. All video can be recorded to a DVR with time/date stamp.( sold separately ) When its time to relocate, simply open an air release valve to
